Self-introduction

Wang worked on investigation of polyelectrolytes and fluorescent molecules during his Ph.D career. The research focused on new synthetic routes to polyelectrolytes which can be applied on alkaline fuel cell, and developing analogues of BODIPY dyes as applicable fluorescent probes. Wang joined Dr. Liu ‘s group on April 2019 as post-doctoral fellow. Currently he is working on design and synthesis of novel fluorophores applying on detection of misfolded protein. He also works on fluorescence-based high throughput screening to obtain desired medicine. Wang plays tennis and goes to gym a lot when he has free time.

万旺在博士期间主要在聚电解质和荧光分子上进行研究。他的研究集中在开发新型聚电解质的合成方法以应用于碱性燃料电池,以及BODIPY荧光染料的拓展合成用于开发新型荧光探针。万旺在2019年4月作为博士后加入刘宇研究员的实验室。现在主要进行荧光基团的设计合成用于对错误折叠态蛋白质的识别检测,以及使用荧光化学的方法进行高通量药物筛选。万旺有空的时候喜欢打网球以及去健身房锻炼)
